A 'Monkey Buttons' Classic pattern, which the lovely Amanda Hall kindly let us have!

This beautiful 'Star Flower' Wall Hanging stared out with very traditional EPP and includes some Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) and bonded Applique. It includes a cushion pattern which evolved from the quilt centre design, with added bonded applique.
The original was made with fabric scraps in taupe and browns on a creamy coloured background giving it the classic 'Monkey Buttons' feel. But you could of course use different colours to change its appearance and make it your own.
The finished Wall Hanging measures approximately 78 cm x 78 cm (31 x 31").
It uses 1" Hexagon paper pieces (13) and 2" Classic 60deg Jewel paper pieces (49).
