Feeling all loved-up? Here's the quilt to match! :-)
Inspired by some Heart design quilts seen online Nancy designed and stitched this quilt for Lina Patchwork.
The quilt measures 49 x 49 inches (1.25 x 1.25m) and is made up of an array of Heart-Star-blocks. Each block features an array of different, red/pink hearts grouped around a Star. These blocks are interspersed by little Diamonds and more little Stars (please note: the diamonds are 0.75" size, which is considered 'small' by most people!).
While this was made with Valentine's Day in mind, the pattern and paper pieces could just as easily be used to make a non-themed, scrappy quilt! :-)
The main body is paper pieced (EPP), and the pattern requires some applique and also machine sewing.
