Here is our new 8-Petal Dresden Plate!
We call it Medium/Large as is it fairly large, but smaller than our 'large' (10") Dresden Plates.
The overall size of the flower is just under 8 inches across (approx 20.3 cm).
These flowers are available in packets of 1 or 3 or 9 flowers and come complete with the required centre Octagon(s) paper pieces.
PLEASE NOTE:
The finished Dresden Plate Flowers are appliqued onto a background fabric (like all Dresden Plate flowers!). It is advised to leave the paper pieces in place for the applique stage, because it keeps the petals in shape and stops the flower from being distorted!! The papers are removed afterwards by trimming back the excess backing fabric (behind the flower) to expose the paper pieces.
